  • LogMeIn,  founded in 2003 and based in Boston, Massachusetts, is a provider of software as a service and cloud-based remote connectivity services for collaboration, IT management and customer engagement. 

  • LogMeIn remote access products use a proprietary remote desktop protocol that is transmitted via SSL. 


  • An SSL certificate is created for each remote desktop and is used to cryptographically secure communications between the remote desktop and the accessing computer. 

Control Your Computer Remotely Using LogMeIn

Step 1 Browse https://accounts.logme.in/registration.aspx. and create a 
            LogMeIn account


Step 2 Browse http://logmein-free.en.softonic.com/download. and Download 
            LogMeIn on your computer.



Step 3 Install LogMeIn.




Step 4 Download & install LogMeIn on the computer/smartphone you want to 
            control your computer with


Step 5 Controlling your computer from smartphone


      Sign in with your account on your smartphone. 

      When you are signed it, it should show a list of all the computers that have
      LogMeIn using your account.

      The app tells you which ones are online and which ones are offline; 
      you can only access online ones.

      Click on the computer you want to control, wait for it to load and enjoy!
      The different commands are shown when you are connected.

      happens in that exact moment on your computer, whether it's editing a
      document or sending an email.

Step 6  Controlling your computer from another computer

       Sign in with your LogMeIn account in the other computer. 

       Then, go to Desktop Sharing and select the computer you want to control; 
       everything you know do is happening on your other computer! 

       This can be useful for using an application that you don't have on a certain
       computer or editing a presentation you still had to complete!
